Kathleen Sharon (Jasper) Cronin, 66, of Windham, NH died peacefully, May 14, 2009 at her home surrounded by her children. She was born in Uniontown, PA on August 18, 1942, a daughter of the late Melvin and Joyce (Nolan) Jasper of Carmel, CA. She resided in Salem, NH for 37 years before moving to Carmel, then returning home to Windham 5 years ago. Kathleen graduated from Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. She worked as an RN before starting a family. She volunteered her time to SARC, CCD, voting, little league and to the girl scouts until Multiple Sclerosis interfered with her passions for volunteering. Kathleen also enjoyed gardening, knitting, coins, stamps, crossword puzzles, reading, bird watching and being the neighborhood nurse/mom. She is survived by George Cronin of Revere, MA; one daughter, Dorothy M. and her husband, William McGurren, with whom she resided in Windham, NH; two sons, Sean Patrick Cronin of Salem, NH and Joe Cronin and his wife, Mary Anne and their children, Amanda and Victoria Cronin of Hudson, NH, nieces, nephews and many friends. Her memorial service will be Tuesday May 19th at 9:30 AM at Blessed John XXIII 121 Allds Street Nashua, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Kathleen's name to Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Road Merrimack, NH 03054, American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Drive #110 Bedford, NH 03310 or National Multiple Sclerosis Society 733 Third Avenue NY, NY 10017-3288.
