Kathleen "Kay" Neskey

Kathleen "Kay" Stack Neskey passed away on August 31, 2022  at her home of 60 years, surrounded by her family.  Kay was born on July 15, 1933 to Edward and Anna Ross Stack in Cambridge Ma.  She moved to Pelham after marrying George Neskey in 1956.  She was a graduate of Brighton High and attended Modern School of Design in Boston.  In her early years, she worked at Frigidaire in Boston, and in payroll at Braburn in Lowell.  Later, she worked with her husband in the office at Neskey Const. Co Inc, in Pelham, where she acquired the nickname 'Caddy Kay'.

When her children were young, she was active as a Cub Scout leader and CCD teacher.  She was a member of Pelham’s Red Hat Society, The Women’s Guild, and Senior Center.  Kay enjoyed her life "within the dash" at holiday celebrations, cross country RV travel, cruises and Foxwoods. Always in search of a good deal, she loved auctions, yard sales and Building #19.  She made special memories for her grandchildren with her personalized Christmas decorations, Easter egg hunts, and over the top spooky surprises at Halloween.

Kay is survived by her wonderful, caring children (her words) sons Scott and wife Kathy, Paul Neskey, daughters Jody her husband Paul DeCarolis, Tammy and husband Kenneth Camire;  the pride and joy of her life, her grandchildren Ethan, Evan, Jordan Neskey, Tara and husband Alex MacLennan, Andrew and Alex DeCarolis, Amy and husband Avery Walter, Michael and Matthew Camire;  great grandchildren Delilah and Tucker MacLennan; and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband George, son Jeff, and sister Bertha Doherty.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to her helping angels Deb Desmarais, Sally Cote, and Joan for their support and loving care of our mother.

Services will be private.  In lieu of flowers it was her wish that you do a kind deed for someone in her memory.
