Kathleen J. Laing

Kathleen J. Laing (Nee) Shea of Dover NH died April 25th at age (65). Beloved wife of Peter Laing and mother of Tori Laing, both of Dover NH

She was the sister of Susan Shea of Brattleboro VT, Dennis Shea of Hanover MA, and Dianne O’Brien of Houston TX, and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Raised and educated in Dedham MA, she graduated Dedham High School and attended Northeastern University, Rittner’s School of Design and Management, and graduated Mc Intosh College with a Le Cordon Bleu, Associates of Science and Culinary Arts Degree. Kathie worked for the U.S. Dept. of State Passport Office, Immigration and Naturalization, the U.S. Census and Somersworth High School.  

Per the family’s wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service planned. Instead, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
