Kathy Rossiter Breen 76 of Troy NH died peacefully and unexpectedly on July 8, 2024, leaving behind her loving husband of 47 years Francis Breen. They were married November 13th 1977 and enjoyed many happy memorable years.
She was born the daughter of the late Norman and Mary (Brown) Rossiter in Wilmington DE, on May 14th 1948. She was raised in New Castle DE and Graduated from William Penn High School in 1977. After High School she attended Keene State College, graduating with a bachelors degree in teaching.
After graduation she remained in NH and taught High School History in Merrimack NH for several years. She then went on to own and operate Jaffrey House of Video in Jaffrey NH for many years with her sister in law Brenda Breen. After selling the video store she continued to manage operations for the new owner, eventually purchasing it back before permanently closing it when VCR tapes became obsolete. She worked for several years at Atlas Display Fireworks retail location in Amherst NH.
Kathy enjoyed reading, knitting, baking for family and friends and time spent at the beach. She also enjoyed many happy times at “The Farm” , a family owned property in Springfield New Brunswick Canada where she made many wonderful memories, and friendships that lasted a lifetime.
In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her sister MaryLou Imber.
Kathy is survived by 2 sisters, RuthAnn Rossiter and husband Michael Bates of DE, and JoAnn and her husband John Olson of NC. Her brother in law Ray Breen and his wife Brenda, and her sister in law Virginia Dodge and her husband James all of Jaffrey NH. As well as many Nieces, Nephews and several Godchildren.
There will be no calling hours, a Memorial service will be held on July 27th at 11 AM at the Trinitarian Congregational Church 11 S. Main St. Troy NH. Parking behind the library across the street.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Monadnock Humane Society in Swanzey NH in her name.
