Kay Thompson Bailey passed away on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026 at the age of 63. She was born on June 2nd, 1962 in Plymouth, NH. She is survived by her husband Rick Bailey; her children, Ryan Bailey and Jen LaRue; her mother Janice Thompson; her sister Linda Rose; as well as her granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

She and her husband married on May 4th, 1985. They recently celebrated 41 years of marriage.

In her earlier years she worked as an LPN and had a passion for dancing that carried on throughout her life.

She dedicated many years to raising her children at home before later pursuing her passion for photography. She attended McIntosh College and built a photography business of her own. She was rarely seen without a camera in her hands.

Above all else, she loved her family. She was a proud mother, a loving grandmother, and a dedicated wife. Her warmth, creativity and love will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

A private family service will be held at a later date to celebrate her life.
