Keith R. Ashley

Keith R. Ashley, age 70, of Plaistow, NH, formerly of Lynn, MA, died peacefully at Salemhaven Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility on July 24, 2019.

Born on June 9, 1949 in Lynn, MA, he was the loving son of the late Edward E. and Phyllis G. (Porteous) Ashley and was also the brother of the late Scott Ashley. He is survived by his son, Colin Welch; his granddaughter, Olivia Welch; his brothers, Bruce and Robin Ashley; as well as many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Keith will always be remembered for his generous acts of kindness. He was a 1968 graduate of Lynn Trade High School. He worked as a car salesman for Bob Brest Buick and Mirak Dodge/Chevrolet and later for Eastman Gelatine Corp. as a test technician. In retirement, Keith worked as a pawnbroker for Plaistow Trading. In his spare time, he was an avid watch repairman and collected fine watches and antiques. He was also a former member of the North Shore Old Car Club and owned many vintage cars over the years.

A celebration of Keith's life will be held at a later time.
