Kenneth Fillebrown, 88, died peacefully on Thursday morning, September 26, 2024, at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative and Hospice Care in Lebanon, NH. He was born in Malden, Massachusetts and resided in both Malden and Medford, Massachusetts. He is predeceased in death by his mother and stepfather, Barbara and George Twinem and father, Henry Fillebrown, sisters Norma Jean Blodget and Claire Lowthers and brothers, George Twinem and John Twinem.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Lucille and her children, Terry and Lenny Bolduc of Canaan, NH, John and Laura Dauphinais of Lutz, FL, Dana McGranaghan of Lebanon, NH, Lori Dunn of Lebanon, NH and Lisa Potwin of Windsor, VT as well as 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, and his children Karen and George DiDomenico of Hanover, MA, Kenneth and Theresa Fillebrown of Deerfield, NH, Debbie Morris and Robert Norcross of Dracut, MA, Scott and Kellie Fillebrown of Londonderry, NH and Cheryl Smith of Medford, MA, 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Ken was a loving man and cared deeply for his wife and children. He was a good provider and worked as a carpenter, a boiler engineer and in the marine industry servicing and packing life rafts. He was a member of the Army National Guard, the Masons and the Elks. He was also a Boy Scout leader and president of the Trustees at this church. He was an avid boater, both sail and power. Many vacations were spent boating to Block Island and Martha's Vineyard. He loved camping in his fifth wheel camper with Lucille, spending many winters in Fort Myers, Florida. They also enjoyed many cruises to the Caribbean.
Ken and Lucille went on Friday night date nights for many years enjoying their favorite foods. He loved fried whole belly clams as well as blackened salmon. Ken also loved watching Hallmark movies.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at the Lebanon Elks, Lebanon, NH on Saturday, October 19th from 1:00-4:00 PM.
A heartfelt THANK YOU to nurses Nancy, Katelyn, Shua and Jessica and all the staff for their exceptional care given to Ken while he was in the Jack Byrne Center and to the 3rd floor staff at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital.
