Kenneth M. Brown

Kenneth Malcolm Brown, 86, passed away September 9, 2023, at home in Goffstown, NH surrounded by family.  He was born on May 14, 1937, in Gravesend, Kent, England to Winifred A. Brown (Fry) & Kenneth Brown.

Ken's family moved to the USA in 1948. He graduated from Central High School in Manchester, NH in 1956.  He served in the US Army from 1956-1959.  He earned his associate's degree in 1974, and Bachelor's degree in 1976 in Criminal Justice from St. Anselm's College in Goffstown, NH.  He then joined the Manchester NH Police Dept. in 1966 and retired in 1986. After retirement, he worked at St. Mary's Bank and Carbone's Florist.

He leaves behind his wife, Leona Brown, of 42 years;  his three children, Kathy Ellen Brown, Warren (Elizabeth) Robert Brown, and Matthew (Jillian) David Brown, all of NH; Four grandchildren, Amanda Brown, Jacob Brown, Rebecca Brown, and Justis Brown, all of NH;  brother Tom (Margaret) Cowell of England; sisters Cynthia Caron and Judee Gagne of NH; as well as great grandchildren, nieces, nephews,  and cousins.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 9am at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen NH.
