Kenneth A. Martineau, 76, passed away peacefully on 7 March 2026, following a short battle with lung cancer.

Born in Bangor, Maine to Fernand J. Martineau and Hermine Weber, Ken later grew up in Old Orchard Beach and Biddeford, joining a blended family through his father’s marriage to Doris Weymouth Barrett. In his younger years, he served in the seminary where he also became an excellent chef. He then worked for over two decades in the insurance industry in Maine, and later settled in Bedford, New Hampshire with his spouse Stephen “Ari” Bendavid and beloved bird, Honey. Ken was known for his wonderful sense of humor, kind heart, and the joy he brought to those around him.

He is survived by his spouse Ari, brother Fernand A. and sisters Linda Demers, Denise Fecteau, Brenda Alper and Kim Bryant and many nieces and nephews.
