Kenneth R. Schmerder

Kenneth R. Schmerder, 73, passed away on June 19, 2020 in Tilton at the New Hampshire State Veteran's Home when his battle with Parkinson's Disease got to be too much for his frail body to continue to fight. He was the loving husband of Sandra (Kearney) Schmerder with whom he shared forty-eight years of marriage.

Kenneth lived a fulfilling life traveling to countless locations for vacations and concerts with his wife. He will be remembered around his neighborhood for his diligent work in his yard and his daily pastime of smoking his pipe.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Heidi Edgecomb and her husband, Will and Heather Schmerder; two grandchildren, Alexis and Noah Edgecomb and his only brother, William Schmerder.

A Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held on Monday, June 29, 2020 at the New Hampshire State Veteran's Cemetery in Boscawen at 10:15AM promptly. A gathering for family and friends will be held immediately after and an address will be announced at the cemetery.
