Kenneth Ingraham Walton Jr., 68, of Deerfield tenaciously fought his brain cancer as he lived his life: with courage and good humor. He lost his final battle on November 6, 2002. He was the son of Kenneth I. and Nancy (Edwards) Walton, Sr. He is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara (Wood) Main-Walton; his sons, Kenneth III and Jonathan; and his grandchildren Ian and Diana all of Laconia. He was a machinist-toolmaker for Gemini Valve for 19 years. In his ''spare time'' he built and raced motorcycles and race cars on dirt, ice and off road and oval tracks. During his retirement years he rebuilt a 1971 MG Midget and built, from scratch, a Lotus 7 replica. He traveled to Great Britain many times to visit friends and to race radio control cars. A celebration of life will be held at his home on Sunday, November 24th from 1:00 until 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers or prayer cards, donations may be made to Nature's Conservancy, World Wildlife Foundation or Nation Rifle Association in Ken's name.
