Kevin Daniel Barry

Kevin Daniel Barry, 73, passed peacefully on March 20th, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born on February 6th, 1952 in Franklin NH, the son of Ernest and Charlotte Barry. Kevin graduated from Franklin High School in 1970 and earned his forestry degree at the Thompson School of Applied Science in Durham NH. Upon graduating, he moved to Salisbury, where he then went on to build his home and raise his family.

Kevin dedicated his career to the forest/logging industry. He worked as a log buyer at Durgin & Crowell Lumber for 46 years. He was respected for his incredible work ethic & undeniable love and dedication to the trade. His kindness and guidance followed many of his work peers through their successful careers. It is safe to say the forest industry will not be the same, but his memory will live on in the hearts of the people that were blessed with his presence.

Outside of work, Kevin could always be found at his camp in Nash Stream, enjoying the great outdoors, and the peace that came with it. Kevin also spent much of his time talking about his extensive travels to numerous National Parks across America, and many overseas adventures.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Julie Barry of 37 years, and his 4 children, Jason Barry, Jeff Barry, Ian Barry, and Kaila Frost. Kevin was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather to his 7 grandchildren beaming with pride around the family he created. He is also survived by his two siblings, Brian Barry and Lynn Van Cleave. Kevin was a great man that will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.
