Kevin Thomas Erickson

Kevin Thomas Erickson, 62, died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, January 9, 2021 in Concord, New Hampshire from complications related to Lewy Body Dementia.

Kevin was born on July 16, 1958 in Murray, Utah to the late Kenneth and Elylia (Higham) Erickson.

grew up in Utah, with lots of extended family always around. He graduated from Murray High School. After graduation and an amazing trip to Sweden to visit relatives, he joined the United States Army. After his sharpshooter training, Kevin went into the Army Reserves, where he served out his term until his honorable discharge in 1985.

Kevin met the love of his life Roberta in 1986 and they were married on September 6, 1989 in Murray, Utah. Active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the couple were later sealed in the Jordan River Temple. Over the next 31 years, they raised four wonderful children of whom he was extremely proud. In 2013, the family decided to move across the country to Bow, New Hampshire, where they have happily resided since.

Kevin loved being outdoors, whether it was playing outside as a child, fly fishing in Utah, or sitting in the yard watching squirrels run around. He loved watching military movies and games shows with his boys. He also loved reading, especially Harry Potter books with his kids. Lucky for him, he was able to work at Scholastic Book Fairs for many years and was surrounded by books.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Roberta; children Amanda, Jeff, Zach, and Jonny; brother Ken, sister Kate O'Bryan; niece Tina Erickson (Casey McDonald); nephew Chris Erickson (Heather); nephew Keith Erickson (Alexis); and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, both waiting with open arms to welcome him in Heaven.

A special thanks to all those that cared for Kevin through his battles over the past several months: Dr Linda Kornfeld and the Elliot Palliative Care staff, Dr Kaylan Ghanta, Dr Gus Emmick, Elliot Hospital GPU, Concord VNA and Hospice House, and so many more than can be listed. You will never be forgotten!

A Zoom memorial will be held TBA. Burial and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when all family and friends are able to gather together. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Concord Hospice House.
