Kyle J. Nagele

Kyle Jamison Nagele, 40, passed away on June 12, 2024, at home in Manchester, NH in the presence of his family after a prolonged illness. 

Born in Merced, CA on December 13, 1983, the son of Brent E. and Jennifer C. (Plichta) Nagele. Kyle was a graduate of Manchester High School West, class of 2002. He attended Atlantic Culinary Academy in the Le Cordon Bleu program, in Dover, NH. Kyle worked at many area restaurants and then pursued a career in information technology support services with Factset, a Fortune 500 company. Adventures in travel and his passion for culinary arts led Kyle to Hawaii, where he lived for 3 years and became a Butcher’s Apprentice. 

Kyle enjoyed many pursuits including soccer, baseball, student government, theater, and band. He was a lifelong scout, starting with Cub Scouts and finally achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. An avid traveler, Kyle continued to pursue his love of camping, fishing, snowboarding, and skateboarding. Kyle embraced life on his terms with a huge heart and generous spirit. He welcomed spirited conversations about psychology, human behavior, and politics. His smile reached his eyes, full of love and light with mischief never far behind. 

He is survived by Brent (father) & Jennifer (mother) Nagele, Karla M. Nagele (sister). He leaves behind Kyler Gingras and Ivy Gingras, who held a special and dear place in his heart. He was much loved by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Erwin and Daisy Nagele and Richard Sr. and Lorraine Plichta. 

In accordance with Kyle’s wishes, a private celebration of his life will take place at the convenience of his family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Compassus Hospice Care, 1 Bedford Farms Suite 201, Bedford, NH 03110. The Cremation Society of NH is assisting the family with arrangements.
