Lane Robert Whitney age 70 died on December 31, 2019 at Home Health & Hospice Care in Merrimack, NH. He had many health issues last being a broken Disk in his back. That he made the decision to have major surgery, which lead to his decline in health. He was born in Nashua NH June 18,1949

Lane Worked several Jobs: But worked for the town of Milford at the Recycling Center for 30 Years. He retired from this job in 2010. After retirement he worked part time at the Milford VFW Post 4368. He very much enjoyed watching Wrestling, Game Shows, including jeopardy, Wheel of fortune and too many to count. He Loved animals especially Cats. His hobbies include Seek a words, Sudoku puzzles, and listening to the radio. He very much enjoyed going to the American Legion Post 23, to visit with his MANY friends. Lane would walk everywhere he went, he must have walked 10 miles a day when working.
Almost everyone in Milford and Wilton knew Lane! He worked hard his whole life and raised raise 3 Girls. He was always the type of person to give you the shirt off his back or give you 20.00 to go buy a new one! A very gentle man, Love by So very many.
Lane is survived by His Father Earle Whitney SR. of Peterborough, NH; His brothers Leonard Whitney of Lowell, Ma., Earle Whitney Jr, of Brookton, Me;
Sisters, Susan Wand Jackson of Rindge, NH; Cynthia Whitney of Enosburg Falls, VT; Carol Whitney Dwine of Nebo,NC A Step daughter, Laurie Ann Gentile of Nashua, NH; Terry Lee Whitney King of Brooklyn,Ct. And Daughter Barbara Whitney of Northwood, Iowa Many nieces Nephews and Grandchildren.
There are no calling hours, there will be celebrations of Life, Held at the American Legion POST 23 15 Cottage Street Milford, NH on January 11 at 3:00 PM. These are Lane wishes! Hope you can make it.
