Laura Rose Falzone Dunn, 76, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2026, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on February 5, 1950, in Everett, MA, Laura was the loving daughter of the late Leo Natale Falzone and Ruth Marie (Blood) Falzone. She was educated at Our Lady of Grace Parochial School and Everett High School. Passionate about education and helping others, she earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Salem State University, later completing a Master’s in School Counseling from Rivier University in Nashua, NH.

Laura built a long, rewarding career touching the lives of many young people—first as an elementary school teacher at Hamilton School, and later as a dedicated school counselor. After moving to Nashua in 1987, she served students at Dr. Crisp Elementary School, spent a brief period at Amherst Street Elementary School, and concluded her meaningful career at Fairgrounds Middle School.

While no single word can fully capture a life so beautifully lived, Laura can best be summed up by one: devotion. She was entirely devoted to the family she adored, the friends she cherished, the career she built, and the faith that guided her. She was an active parishioner at Immaculate Conception Church and welcomed everyone in her life with open arms. From preparing her famous Italian feasts, hosting countless holiday gatherings and her treasured Sicily Nights, monthly shopping excursions with her sisters, regularly meeting up with dear friends over coffee or a meal, embarking on numerous travel adventures near and far, making daily check-in phone calls (or many) especially to her loving daughters, helping students through challenging times, acting as "Grammy Uber", leading “Grammy Camp” during the summer, or cheering on her beloved granddaughters in all they did. Laura had a gift for making everyone feel special in every aspect of her life.

Laura’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was the beloved wife of Stephen "Steve" Forbes Dunn, with whom she shared over 52 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, laughter and adventure. In addition to her husband, Steve, she is survived by her adoring daughters, Meredith Mansfield and her husband Cris, and Stephanie Smart and her husband Jeremiah; her four precious granddaughters, Ainsley, Tenley, Delaney, and Ellie, whom she lovingly referred to as her "dolls"; her beloved sister, Theresa Falzone; her beloved brother, Charles Falzone; her dear sisters-in-law, Marilyn Falzone and Maureen Arinello, and brother-in-law, Paul Graf; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, and countless dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Laura was predeceased by her sister, Barbara Graf; her brother, John Falzone; nephews, Christian Costa, John Arsenault, and Vincent Costa; her dear aunt who was like a second mother to her, Angelina Zaremski; her parents- in-law, Douglas W. and Mary Dunn; her sisters-in-law Mildred Falzone and Priscilla Ruzzo; and her brothers-in-law Douglas W. Dunn Jr. and Vincent Arinello.

Laura’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff and volunteers at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. The extraordinary care and grace they showed, brought peace to her and strength to them during a difficult time. They will always hold immense gratitude in their hearts for their dedication and support.

A funeral mass and celebration of life will be held at a later date. Please check back in late winter or early spring for additional details.
