Laura Jane Gregory

Laura ''Jane'' Gregory, 91, of Meredith died October 5, 2002 at Golden View Health Care after a period of declining health. Mrs. Gregory was born on May 30, 1911 in Pratts Hollow, NY daughter of the late Lorenzo and Harriet (Lynch) Marshall. She grew up in New York and worked in the banking industry for many years. She was a member of the Eastern Star and DAR in New York. After retiring she moved California where she spent six years before finally returning to the East Coast. She then moved to Meredith where she had been living for the past 20 years. In 1989 she became the widow on Elmer Gregory and later lost one son, Charles Gregory and two grandchildren. She is survived by one daughter, Kathleen Mason of Meredith; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
