Laura Isabel Lemelin

Laura Isabel Lemelin, 79, of 16 Wakefield Acres, Sanbornville died on October 31, 2001 at Huggins Hospital., in Wolfeboro, after a period of failing health. Ms.Lemelin was born on October 10, 1920 in Malaga, Nova Scotia, Canada, the daughter of the late William and Ethel (MacQuarrie) Snyder. She worked privately cleaning homes in Kennebunkport, Maine and worked briefly for Mr. and Mrs. George and Barbara Bush. Laura enjoyed being a mother, she loved her home and was an excellent cook. Family members include; one son, Eugene Lemelin of Arundel, Maine; two daughters, Helen Davis of Millsboro, Del. and Joanne Twombley of Sanbornville, NH; five grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. There are no services. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Children's Diabetes Foundation.
