Laureat R. Pelletier, 86, of Goffstown died February 25, 2004 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home following a brief illness. Mr. Pelletier was born on June 1, 1917 in St. Phamphile Providence of Quebec, Canada, the son of the late Joseph N. and Claire M. (Pelletier) Pelletier. He was a U S Army Veteran who served during World War II. He worked for J.F. McElwain in Manchester for 35 years until he retired. Mr. Pelletier enjoyed hunting, and was an avid wood worker, making furniture for his children and grandchildren. Family members include; two sons, Donald Pelletier of Pembroke and Kenney Pelletier of Manchester; three daughters, Doris Reno of Manchester, Priscilla Vaillancourt of Goffstown and Tina Pelletier of Manchester; two sisters, Mrs. Coulombe Watterson of Arizona and Mrs. Jeanne dArc Gagne of St. Johnsbury, VT; one brother, Jean Pelletier of Winsor Mills P.Q. Canada; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Pelletier was predeceased by six brother and two sisters. There will be a Memorial Reception on Thursday, February 26th from 10 until 11 oclock in the morning with a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in the mausoleum on Friday, February 27th at 3:00 PM.
