Lawrence M. Driscoll

Lawrence "Larry" M. Driscoll, of Gilmanton, NH, beloved husband of Roberta (Agostinelli) Driscoll, died suddenly on October 1, 2018.

Larry was born and raised in Brookline, MA and lived for many years in Newton, MA. Larry and his family moved to Gilmanton, New Hampshire in 2017, where Larry embraced life from his home at the top of a hill in the middle of nowhere. Larry will be remembered for his ready smile and his generous nature.

Larry is survived by his wife, Roberta, and their two children, Joseph Mann of Bothell, WA, and James Driscoll of Gilmanton, NH. Larry is also survived by his sister, Patricia Driscoll Frazer and her husband, Brett Frazer of Essex Junction, VT and his brother, George Driscoll and his wife, Dr. Maryjane Houlihan of Needham, MA.

Larry was deeply committed to his recovery, and had been sober for more than a decade when he died. He was a very active member of Alcoholics Anonymous, both in Massachusetts and in New Hampshire. Larry worked daily to help others in need of help, and changed the lives of many people on their journeys through recovery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to NHAA District 11, PO Box 81, Laconia NH 03247.
