Lawrence H. Rich, 75, of Fremont died on April 14, 2004 at home after a period of failing health. Mr. Rich was born in Worcester, MA, the son of the late Harold and Evelyn (Nichols) Rich. He served in the U. S. Navy as a parachute rigger at the USNAS, Trinidad. He graduated from Worcester Junior College in 1949. He worked in sales for the Rockwood Sprinkler Company before joining Jamesbury Corporation in Worcester, MA. He worked for them for 31 years in the pulp and paper industry before retiring in 1991. Before moving to Fremont in 1996, he lived in Kingston for 29 years. He was a member of the Kingston Fire Department for many years, as well as an EMT. He organized the parade for the Kingston’s 300th Anniversary Celebration. Family members include; his wife, Carol (Westerback) Rich of Fremont; three sons and daughter-in-laws, Lawrence and Christine of Farmington, Carl and Patti of Sanbornton, and Todd and Deborah of Fremont; and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sons; James Edward and Michael Alan. The family requests that Larry be remembered by a donation to The Seacoast Hospice, 10 Hampton Road, Exeter or SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation, 8 Hampton Road, Exeter.
