LeeAnne E. Pepper

July 16, 1958 — October 7, 2023

Manchester, NH

LeeAnne Elizabeth (Persons) Pepper, 65, died Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. She was born in Portland, ME July 16, 1958, the daughter of Roger B. Persons and Margaret (Darby) Persons.

LeeAnne was a 1976 graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School in Bennington, VT, and in 1982 received an associate’s degree for Business Administration from Southern Vermont College. She had a long career in office administration, construction sales and management. Her last employment was with Builders Installed Products where she was well respected as a department manager. A dedicated Red Sox fan, she rarely missed a game from her living room. But her favorite sports team was the Patriots.

LeeAnne loved all crafting but focused on sewing, quilting, and crocheting where she shared her creations through her personal blog “Never Idle Hands”. She would often make blankets or stuffed animals and donate them to the children at Dana Farber. Gardening was another passion of hers. She always kept beautiful flower and vegetable gardens, as well as charming fairy gardens, much to the delight of her youngest granddaughter, Avery.

At the young age of 56 she was diagnosed with mesothelioma and fought with determination for 9 years. Sadly, she passed away two days before her diagnosis anniversary. She used her family as strength to keep fighting after completing many chemo treatments, immunotherapies, and clinical drug trials.

LeeAnne was the cherished daughter of the late Roger B. Persons and her devoted mother Margaret (Darby) Persons of Manchester, NH. She was a devoted mother to her sons, Eric Goodhue and his partner Samantha St. Peter of Manchester, NH, and Ryan Goodhue of Redding, CA; beloved grandmother to three beautiful granddaughters, Angelina Smith, Riley Goodhue, Avery Goodhue; loving sister to brothers Michael Persons and his wife Susan (Conway) of Melrose, MA, and Paul Persons and his wife Melody (Hoyt) of Pembroke, NH; and dedicated aunt to nephews Jacob Persons, Matthew Persons, and Kevin Persons, and niece Kylie Persons.

Services will be held privately. The Cremation Society of NH is assisting the family with arrangements. To view an online memorial, leave a message of condolence, or for more information please visit https://csnh.com/.
