DANVILLE, NH– Lemuel D. Smith Jr, 74, of Danville, NH, passed away on Sunday July 30, 2017, at Exeter Hospital. Mr. Smith was the son of Lemuel D. Smith SR and his wife, Marion. He was born in, New Brunswick, Canada.

Lemuel came to Lawrence, MA and worked as a tree surgeon, one of the best around, He also worked as a landscaper, night club owner and tuna fisherman. He ended his career at Malden Mills as a textile worker. He was also one tough SOB.

Lemuel is survived by his children, Teresa A. Smith-Parker and her husband James Parker of Danville, NH, Bruce W. Smith of Danville, NH, Christine McCormack,
Danielle Waugh and her husband Barry Waugh, He is also survived by his sisters Donna Merritt, of Grafton, NH, Kathleen Morales, Elizabeth West, Margaret and her husband, Ghislain Daigle, of Grafton, NH, and his brothers, Hiram Smith, and his wife, Rita, of Methuen, MA, and Dean Smith, of Windham, NH; 11 Grand children and 7 Great Grand children and many nieces and nephews and friends.

ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and family are respectfully invited to a Memorial Service on Thursday August 3, 3:00 PM to 7:00 pm at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover St, Manchester, NH.
