Leo J. Freeh, Sr., 79 of 11 Weatherby Drive, Winchester died on October 16, 2000 at Harborside Healthcare of Applewood in Winchester after a lengthy illness. Mr. Freeh was born on June 9, 1921 in Kittnersville, Pennsylvania the son of the late Harry and Hilda (Dillon) Freeh. He was a US Army Veteran who served in WWII. He was a master mechanic for Venio Chevrolet in Framingham, MA for 8 years. He and his wife then moved to Maine where they ran a several sporting camps in Willmantic. He was a lifetime member of Masonic Temple in Greenville, Maine. They relocated to New Hampshire where Mr. Freeh worked for O'Neil's Paper Service in Ashuelott. They retired to Florida for a period of time and returned to NH where he worked as an oxygen technician for Twin State Medical in Keene. Family members include; his wife of 41 years, Marlene (Drinkwater) Freeh; three sons, Leo Freeh, Jr., Herman Freeh and James Freeh, all of Winchester; three daughters, Lorese Russell of Tucson, AZ, Cheryl Freeh of West Swanzey and Julia Saczawa of Winchester; six grandchildren, and two great grandsons. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2000 at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery, Route 119, Winchester.
