Leo Tracy Hoke, 87, died May 4, 2021 after a long, hard battle with Alzheimer's. He was born April 6, 1934, at home in Mt. Upton, NY. He married his soulmate, Betty, on November 20, 1953, and they went on to have four daughters. They moved to NH in 1970, when Leo accepted a position as sales manager for Miracle Maid. He later became a salesperson for Barlo Signs, and he retired from there. Leo and Betty became avid collectors of Christmas ornaments, and they were both active members of a Christmas Ornament club. Leo and Betty enjoyed traveling and spending time with family. Leo was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge in Nashua, NH, and in his earlier years he was an active member of The First Baptist Church of Nashua, NH.
Leo was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Elizabeth (Betty) Hoke, his daughter Holly and his granddaughter Mary. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Betsy and John Greeley, his daughter Patti Hoke, and his daughter and son-in-law Heidi and Andy Spaulding. He is also survived by 3 grandsons, Tracy Greeley, Nathan Spaulding and Zachary Spaulding, 3 great-grandsons, Nicholas Greeley, Maddox Greeley and Mason Spaulding as well as his great-granddaughter Natalie Spaulding.
A "Celebration of Life" will be held on Sunday, May 9, 2021 with a gathering from 10-11:30 and a memorial service at 11:30am at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Home, Health and Hospice Care of Merrimack, NH.
