Leonard "Skip" Samuel Bryan, 73, died March 14, 2010 at home surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born November 5, 1936 in Lynn MA to Laurence Bryan and Virginia (Mulcahy) Bryan. He attended Lynn Classical High School in Lynn MA. He received his ABS from Hesser College in 1972. He also attended NH College from 1972-1974. He served for over 36 years in the US Air Force and US Army. He served in the Korean War, Vietnam War, as well as Desert Storm. He also served in the Army of Occupation in Austria in 1955. He retired in 1997 as a Civilian Technician and Chief Warrant Officer 4 (CW4) with the US Army. He was a member of the Sweeney Post. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by 4 children, Mary-Kaye (Penny) and her husband Frank Ventura of W. Warwick RI, Colleen and her husband Dan Cantin, Donald and his wife Leslie Bryan, and Shannon and her husband Scott Syrene all of Manchester NH; brother Laurence (Sonny) Bryan of Lynn MA, sister Barbara and husband Clive Smith of Hampstead NH, sister Linda Watts of NC, and sister Joanne and husband Neal LaFleur of Lynn MA; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He will also be sorely missed by his close friends Tom and Jackie English of Manchester NH.
