Memorial Gathering
Cremation Society of New Hampshire - Manchester
4:00 - 6:00 pm (Eastern time)
Leonard (Lenny) Joseph Caron, 83, passed away suddenly on March 18, 2026, after a period of declining health. Born on March 26, 1942, in Manchester, New Hampshire, he was the son of Edmond J. Caron and Pearl O. Caron.
Lenny will be remembered most for his kindness and the steady way he cared for others. He was the kind of person who would go out of his way to lend a hand, whether it was helping a neighbor, offering a ride, or simply fixing things around the house for his friends and family.
A hardworking man throughout his life, Lenny served in the Army Reserve from 1959 to 1965. He spent 27 years working as a cement truck driver for Manchester Redimix and was a proud member of Teamsters Local 633 since 1968. He took great pride in his work and in providing for his family.
In his later years, Lenny enjoyed living in Largo, Florida, where he embraced the warm sunshine, spent time biking, and continued doing what he did best—helping friends and neighbors whenever he could. Eventually, he returned to New Hampshire to live with his son and daughter-in-law.
Lenny had a gift for bringing smiles to those around him. He was always ready with a quick joke and loved making people laugh. He cherished his family deeply and was especially proud of his grandchildren, often sharing stories of the time he spent with them.
He is survived by his son John Caron and his wife Dana of Jacksonville, Florida, and their son Charlie; his son Bob Caron and his wife Sue Mirabello of Bedford, and their children Adam, Sara, and Anna; and his daughter Tracey Tremblay and her husband Jeff of Durham, Maine, and their son Kelan. He is also survived by his brother Ralph Caron and his sisters Ginny Blank and Linda Caron.
He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Karen Caron; brothers Edmond, Edward, Richard, Robert, and Eugene Caron; his sisters Lena Green and Phyllis Fredette; and his beloved English bulldog, Mugsy.
Lenny’s legacy is one of kindness, humor, and a life spent putting others first. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and were fortunate enough to experience his caring heart.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 from 4PM-6PM at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend.
