A musician from a young age, he was known for being a drummer, but also played the guitar, keyboards, and especially “the belly bongo”. As a young boy, he wanted to become a firefighter, and did so for 33 years and retired from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. His love of radio’s led him to become a Ham Radio Operator.
