Leroy Stephens, 72, of 11 Townhouse Rd, died July 4, 2004 after a long illness. Mr. Stephens was born on January 7, 1932 in Akron, Ohio, the son of the late Henry and Mabel (Clark) Stephens. He graduated from East High School in Akron, and attended Kent State College and the University of Akron. Leroy served in the Navy during the Korean War. He worked for Eastern Airlines and retired after 25 years as a Captain. After his retirement he enjoyed working for Northeast Security as a guard. The family includes; his three sons, Keith Stephens of Chichester, Kirk Stephens of Clarkdale, AZ, and Kendal Stephens of Pembroke; a daughter, Kelly Godwin of Muskego, WI; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Ruby Farmer, Maxine Samie, and Helen Russo, all of Akron, Ohio; one brother, Clyde Stephens also of Akron, OH; nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Levitt Cemetery in Chichester, NH on July 16, 2004, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Concord Regional Visiting Nurses Associations Hospice House, P.O.
