Leslie A. Baratta, 80, of Alton, NH, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on August 27, 2026, following a bravely fought brief illness.

Leslie was born in Waltham, MA May 1, 1946, to William and Gloria (Rosetti) Drummond. She was raised in Woburn, MA, and educated locally. Leslie earned an associate degree in business from Chandler’s School for Women and went on to build a rewarding career in the administrative side of healthcare. She worked at Woburn Medical Associates, and served as the office manager both at Seacoast Cancer Center, in Dover, NH, and a physicians practice at Huggins Hospital, in Wolfeboro, NH until retirement.

Above all else, Leslie was a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who lived for her family. The time she spent with those she loved was what mattered most to her. Not only did she cook countless dinners for her family, she was still offering to babysit her great-grandkids at 80 years old. Her family was truly the center of her world.

Leslie had many interests and enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She loved spending time at the beach, making jewelry, and gathering with friends and family for game nights. She especially enjoyed playing dominoes, including her favorite game, “Train”. She adored turtles and it showed in every corner of her home. Leslie was always very active and was an avid jogger until her illness. She loved to have fun and was always the life of the party, especially with her friends in Florida “The Winettes”. Her warm personality and generosity with her time and energy created countless wonderful memories that will remain with those who knew and loved her.

Leslie is survived by her husband, Robert “Bud” Baratta; her daughter, Stacey Perry, and her partner Timothy Savoy, of Alton; her son, Robert “Rob” Baratta, and his wife, Amy Baratta, of Weare, NH; her grandchildren, Nicole Tanguay and husband, Jason; Joseph Perry Jr.; and Michael Perry and wife, Annabelle; her great-grandchildren, Robby, Emma, and Danny Tanguay, and Colton Perry; along with many beloved extended family members and cherished friends.

In addition to her parents, Leslie was predeceased by her son-in-law, Joseph Perry.
