Leslie passed away at 8:22 am with his Wife Nancy lying at his side.
Leslie was a Jehovah Witness, and an avid mountaineer. Through out His life the White Mountains were his back yard and play ground. Born in Lincoln, NH to Albany Chiasson and Marjorie Santaw. Leslie worked as a machinist and handy man most of his life. He was loved by all that had the honor of knowing him. Leslie was a loving Father to his children, and grandchildren, and had a large extended family that adored him..
Leslie is survived by his wife Nancy I. Haynes of Weare, NH, His daughter Jessica G. Patton of Concord, NH, Son Leslie P. Haynes Jr of Andover, NH, Son Dana E. Haynes of Weare, NH, Sister Carol Haartz of Campton, NH, Sister Doris Egenlauf of Worcester, MA, Brother Robert Haynes of Augusta, GA, and His Grandchildren Clarissa, Zach, Maya, Layla, Lily and his most recent Grandson Louie. Leslie will be greatly missed and remembered.
Memorial service to be held on Saturday December 17, 2011 at 1:00 pm, at The Wilmot Community Association. 64 Village Rd. Wilmot, NH 03287.
