Leslie Fisher Smith

Leslie F. Smith, Jr., 86, of Barrington died Monday, February 9, 2004 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester following a brief illness. Mr. Smith was born on February 20, 1917 in Stamford, Connecticut, son of the late Leslie F. and Mildred (Tooker) Smith Sr. He was active in civic affairs and enjoyed gardening, animals and being surrounded by his family and friends. Family members include his wife of 24 years, Roberta Smith; 3 daughters, Evelyn R. Poulin, Patricia L. LeFrancois and Karen L. Sauve; 2 sons, Brian Sauve and Richard Cornell; his sister, Juliet Smith. He was predeceased by his sister Mildred E. Kirkland and a brother, Edmund T. Smith. He was also loved by his four grandchildren, four great granddaughters and a niece and nephews In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Hampshire Doberman Rescue League, PO Box 1911, Rochester, NH 03866, c/o Norma Guronskas. A private burial will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery. A memorial service will be Friday at 11:00 at Goffstown Harvest Christian Church, 542 Mast Road, Goffstown, NH.
