June 20, 1929 — June 10, 2020

Lester "Les" Leon Cash

Les was born in Joplin, MO on June 20, 1929 to Virgil and Lucille Cash. Les grew up in the plains region before joining the United States Coast Guard. Through his time in the Coast Guard he landed on the east coast where he became an active member of the local union and worked at JJ Duane as a crane operator on the docks of Boston. After working in Boston long enough he had multiple small businesses that he ran over his lifetime, most of which were small machine repairs.

Les was predeceased by his wife Dotti Cash, brother Bud Cash, daughter Linda Riley and his Step-Children Busta Nason and Judy Carmichael. Les is survived by his children: Martha Smith, Susan Martel, Lucille Dinardo, Paula Bushey, and their spouses. He is also survived by his brother Ron Ringland, 20 Grandchildren and 30 Great Grandchildren in addition to all his nieces, nephews and all other beloved family from Nebraska and Missouri.
Les was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend. We will miss all of his stories and hugs. Remember it is not the birth or death dates that matter, it is all about what you do with the dash in between. We Love you Les (Grandpa Frog, Buppa, GG) Cash.
