Linda Carol Farruggio

Linda C. Farruggio, 76, of Boscawen, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025, at Merrimack County Nursing Home, surrounded by the love of her family after a long, hard battle with cancer.

Born in Port Chester New York on July 1,1949 to Kenneth W. Ovens, and Emily E. Clayville. Linda lived a life marked by kindness, strength, and a deep devotion to her loved ones. She was a long-time resident of Manchester, where she worked for many years at LeBlanc’s Hardware. Linda was known not only for her hardworking nature but also for her kindness, and sense of humor she brought to those around her.

She found joy in the simple pleasures; crafting homemade beaded bracelets with love and care, challenging friends and family to games of Scrabble and cards, and making every gathering feel special. The theme song in her home was always Law and Order “dun-dun”. Linda was always someone you could confide in without fear of judgment. She didn’t always have the answers but was amazing at talking you through troubles to help you find the answers you needed. She was a problem solver, a busy and diligent person that always went out of her way to make sure she created special memories with everyone she encountered. Her creativity, sharp wit, and loving presence will be deeply missed.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Emily Ovens, sister Beverly Lopez and brother Kenneth Ovens. Linda is survived by her beloved children: Loren Martin and husband Dan, James Lavalle Jr, and Vincent Farruggio Jr. and wife Britt; her cherished grandchildren: Jeffrey, Jacob, Isabella, Mia, Gavin, Elyse and Oliver and her adored great-grandchildren: Harrison, Greyson, Eleanor, and Adelaide. She was a proud matriarch and a constant source of love and support to each of them.

She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, resilience, and the kind of love that never fades.

A private celebration of life will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages acts of kindness in Linda’s memory; play a game, create something with your hands, or simply spend a little more time with those you love. Tomorrow is never promised.
