Linda Greenlees, 99, of Exeter, NH, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2019, in Brentwood, NH.
She was born in Terryville, CT on August 19, 1920, the daughter of the late Frederick and Olga (Leide) Schwanka. She graduated from high school in Terryville, CT and went on to marry Charles Greenlees on May 1, 1948. She was a homemaker and an unconditionally dedicated member of her church, Immanuel Lutheran Church in Manchester, NH, where she proudly owned the title as the oldest living parishioner.
In her earlier years, she was an active member of the Ladies' Aid at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Terryville. She excelled at sewing and gardening and everything else she undertook. She also enjoyed dinner parties with friends and family.
Linda is predeceased by her husband, Charles Greenlees.
She is survived by her daughter, Beth Freshour and husband Kent Freshour of Exeter, NH; and son Thomas Greenlees and wife Ellen Greenlees of Terryville, CT. She also leaves behind five grandchildren â Jonathan, Lynn and Andrew Freshour and Seth and Alex Greenlees.
