Linda J. Johnson

Linda J. (Monico) Johnson, formally of Saugus and Malden, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loved ones in New Hampshire on April 2, 2024, after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Linda was born in Lynn, MA. on May 31, 1952, to the late Salvatore Monico Jr. and Bernadette (Naja) Monico.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Kris Johnson, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage. She is the proud mother of Christopher Johnson and his wife Dawn, Dwayne Johnson and his wife Jennifer, and daughter Jodi Tirella. Linda is the beloved grandmother to seven grandchildren. She is the treasured sister of Steven Monico and his wife Catherine, and Donna McCormick and her husband Wayne. Linda leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Linda’s deep love for her family, especially her grandchildren, continues to be felt each day. Her warm and caring spirit lives on and is treasured by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 10:00AM. Mass will be held at: Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Summer St., Saugus, MA 01906. Burial will be private.
