Linda Moniz

Linda J Moniz (Wallace), 67, of Windham, NH, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2018.

Linda was born in Manchester, NH on January 13, 1951. She went to school at Saint Joseph's Grammar School and Immaculata High School in Manchester, NH. Linda went on to graduate from Mount Saint Mary's College in Hooksett, NH in 1973. She married Gary Moniz on March 8, 1980 in Saint Joseph's Cathedral Chapel in Manchester. For 36 years Linda worked as social worker at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home (HCNH), where she met her lifelong friends and discovered her passion for sewing. Linda loved to cook and bake for International Food Day and the Cookie Swap at HCNH, in addition to her loved ones. She will be remembered for her warmth, cooking, love for chocolate, and infectious laugh.

Linda was the devoted and loving mother to Caitlin Moses and her husband Ezra of Windham, NH, and Kyle Moniz of Windham, NH. Linda adored her granddaughter Madelin. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Alice Wallace of Manchester, NH and her brother John Wallace of Arlington, MA. Linda is survived by her siblings: Maureen Wallace, Colleen Driscoll, and Thomas Wallace and his wife Deborah.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Monday April 23rd at Saint Joseph's Cathedral Chapel in Manchester. Burial will be private occurring the following day.
