Linda Lorraine (Rinaldi) Thompson, 58, of Auburn, NH passed away on October 4, 2015 at Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, Ma after a long and courageous battle with sarcoidosis and liver disease.
Linda was born November 20, 1956 in Boston and was the daughter of Joseph and Esperanza (Bojorquez) Rinaldi of Chelsea, Ma. Linda was a graduate of Chelsea High School 1974 and a long time employee of Draper Laboratory in Cambridge, Ma. Subsequently she was employed for 19 years with the State of New Hampshire Drinking Water Bureau. She had been a resident of Auburn since 1985.

Members of her family include her husband of 35 years, Jim Thompson of Auburn; a stepson Donald Thompson of the United States Air Force Japan, Parents Joseph and Hope Rinaldi of Chelsea; eight siblings Dorothy, Carol, Joseph, Salvatore, Victor, John, Brenda, and Melissa. Daughter in-law Julie Thompson and two grandchildren Ethan and Emma Thompson. She was predeceased by her brother Michael.

Services: A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday October 8 from 5 to 7 pm at the Phaneuf Funeral Home 243 Hanover Street Manchester, NH. Casual attire is requested. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pope Memorial SPCA 94 Silk Farm Rd Concord New Hampshire 03301.
