Lisa Johnson

Lisa Marie Johnson, 56, died peacefully Thursday, November 24, 2022, at home surrounded by family and friends in Dover, NH. She was born on April 17, 1966, in Dover, NH, the daughter of Harold W. Johnson (father), and Sheila D. Johnson (mother).

Lisa went to high school in Dover. She later worked as a floral designer for over 35 years. Working mostly for Flowers by Leslie in Portsmouth N.H.

Lisa enjoyed the outdoors and taking care of her plants. She was highly talented in caring for her plants as well as others. Her utmost passion was working with flowers. She was frequently called upon to do special arrangements for police and fire departments, along with settings for 9/11 memorials. Her talent was above and beyond the ordinary.                  

She enjoyed being an athletic person, spending much time in the gym, and being outdoors, working out and running with her gang. She was an avid scuba diver and got underwater as often as possible. She loved the water like it was a second home. She loved boating, skydiving, motorcycling, and flying as well.               

Having been a friend of Bill W., Lisa spent a lot of time working with other women in the recovery field. Whenever she was called to help someone out, she was always there. She was a friend and a mentor to many, many, woman in times of need. Whenever Lisa would enter a room, her smile, and positive outlook, would warm her surroundings. She loved her family and friends, with all her heart, as surely as all others loved her. 

Lisa was predeceased by her brother, Fenton Johnson. She is survived by Terrence Johnson, (brother), Clarene Chamberlain (sister) and her husband Tom, Veronica Gregoire (sister), William H. Johnson (brother), Jennifer Elliott (sister) and her husband Erich. Lisa will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, Adam and Kirsten, Mark, Michael, and Joshua; as well as Michelle and Melissa, along with Ian and Forrest, Jacqueline and Brittney. She is the soul mate of Paul Lessard, who had the utmost pleasure of having her grace his life for the past 10 years.

Services: A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-4 pm, on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Kelley's Row, Rt 128, Somersworth, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend. No formal services will be held at this time and services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Assisting the family with arrangements is the Cremation Society of NH, Hampton.
