Lois T. Belanger

LOIS T. BELANGER Lois T. (Berthiume) Belanger, 74, of Bedford, NH, died Tuesday, February 20, at the Community Hospice House, in Merrimack, after a long illness. Lois was born on August 28, 1932, in Lawrence, MA, the daughter of the late Albert and Aurore (LeClaire) Berthiume. She was educated in Lawrence and then moved to California with her family, attending college there and then returning to New England. She has been a resident of Bedford for the past 15 years. Lois worked for Digital Equipment Corporation for many years before retirement. Later, she worked part-time for Sears in Manchester, NH where she had many friends and fond memories. Members of her family include; her loving husband of many years, Richard Belanger, of Bedford, with whom she shared many happy years. Lois is also survived by a daughter, Judi Arasi, of Haverhill, MA; a son, Michael Sebrowsky of Derry, NH as well as several cousins and many friends. IN HER LIFE: In addition, other family members include; her son-in-law, Michael Arasi of Haverhill, MA; Both Richard and Judith were deeply devoted to Lois throughout her illness, Richard providing extraordinary daily care and companionship, and Judith coordinating all of her medical needs. Lois had a zest for life and enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, cooking, and her beloved canine companions Gigi and then Mai-Ling. There are no calling hours. A memorial service for all family and friends will be Friday, February 23, 10:00 AM, at Cremation Society of NH Chapel, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester.
