Lorraine A. Demanche, 88, of Nashua, NH died Friday, September 1, 2017 at Fairview Nursing Care after a brief illness.
She was born on January 17, 1929, in Lowell, MA, the daughter of the late Archille and Lillian (St. Armand) Marchand. She was raised and educated in Pelham, NH.
Ms. Lorraine Marchand married Paul Demanche on April 28, 1951 and was married for 66 years.
She was employed at Roland's Variety Store, Nashua, prior to her retirement in 1968.
Mrs. Demanche enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She especially loved holding and rocking the little ones. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed her crafts which she described as her fancy work.
Members of her family include her daughter, Janet Boisvert and her husband Norman, her son, Paul R. Demanche, grandchildren Jessica Stowell and Evan, Stephanie Tymula and Jonathan; great-grandchildren Julianne and Camden Stowell, Allison, Molly and Maddy Tymula; her brothers in law, Henry Demanche, Willie Demanche (Claudette), Horace "Oscar" Demanche (Yvette), Roger Demanche (Simone).
She was predeceased by her sister, Irene Bousquet, sister in law, Rose Chauvette, brothers in law, Andrew, Norman, Albert, Leo and Raymond.
