Lorraine R. Morin, 72, of Manchester, NH passed away in her home on January 15th, 2018 with her husband by her side.
Lorraine was born in Martinez, California to her parents Rene and Rita (Cote) Bourque, and was raised in Manchester, NH. She met her husband of 51 years, Leonard Morin, while attending St. Anthony's High School. They married and settled in south end of Manchester where they raised their family.
Lorraine most loved spending time with family, and spoiling her grandchildren. She was always ready to try new activities, was eager to travel to new destinations, and loved to dance with her husband. She was always learning, with a particular interest and fondness for wildlife and conservation issues that extended to membership and support of a variety of non-profit organizations. Lorraine was also a supporting member of the Currier Museum of Art, enjoying their Sunday morning jazz brunches, and spending time viewing the latest exhibits with family.
She is survived by, and will be deeply missed by her husband, Leonard Morin; mother, Rita Bourque; her children and their families, David Morin, his wife Amanda, and their sons Calvin and Zachary; Christine (Morin) Andrews, her husband John and son Alex Shreenan; her brother and sister-in-law, Richard Bourque and his wife Carol; sister-in-law, Denise Morin; and several nieces and cousins. She was pre-deceased by her father Rene Bourque.
