Louise M. Aldridge, 80, of Rochester died at her home on March 21, 2004 following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Aldridge was born on April 10, 1923 in Bartlett, NH the daughter of the late John and Carrie (Towle) Dana. Prior to retirement she had spent twenty years with White Mountain Trellis Motel in North Conway. She was a member of the Glen Community Baptist Church. Mrs. Aldridge moved to Rochester in 1977 to help care for her grandchildren and to be close to her family. She religiously attended the First Baptist Church of Greater Rochester. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and created an afghan for each of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her spare time she also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. Mrs. Aldridge was the widow of Francis Aldridge who died in 1976. Family members include; two daughters, Mary Snell and Lois Howard, both of Rochester; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Isabel Crouse of Glen; and several nieces and nephews. There will be a Memorial Service on Thursday, March 25th at 2:00 PM at the Glen Community Baptist Church with Reverends Bill Rose and Jeffe Smith officiating.
