Louise Parker

TLouise L. (Hardy) Parker

Tilton- Louise L. Parker, 87, formerly of Nashua, beloved wife of the late Donald Parker, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013, at the Tilton Veteran's Home, with loving daughter, Kimberly at her bedside.
The youngest of eight, Louise was born in Worcester, Mass., the daughter of the late Leonard and Myrtle (Schwartz) Hardy. Raised in Oakham, a rural and quiet farming community, she often reminisced about life, love and fun within the 'Hardy' clan.
A member of the United States Navy, Louise proudly served post WWII as a Dentalman. Following her own career, and as a military wife, she relocated extensively while growing her family. She courageously journeyed back 'home' where she nobly raised her four children in Norwood, Ma, on her own. A dedicated mother, Louise's family was paramount in her life, taking pride in providing for and in the accomplishments of her children.
Louise enjoyed singing, and belonged to several choirs. She had a beautiful, angelic voice. An artist at heart, Louise's creativity was extensive; self taught piano player, costume making and sewing, sketching, and excelled at scratch baking. Breads, pies, doughnuts, cookies, and decorating specialty cakes for weddings, birthdays, holidays, or just because, for her many friends and family.
Prior to her retirement, Louise was employed by Polaroid Corporation as a mechanical parts technician. There after she continued to be a babysitter, delighting in her most special joy, to be around and nurture babies and children.
Well known for her vivacious spirit, everyone loved to be around Louise. She was sure to always laugh and have fun even on gloomy days. Louise will be best remembered for her warm heart and giving spirit, always lending a helping hand to those in need. A devoted mother, grandmother, wife, and friend, she will be deeply missed.

Louise is survived by 2 daughters, Kimberly LaFleur and husband George Taylor of Hudson, NH, Peggy Buskill and husband Ben of Virginia, son Robert Gillespie of California, Step-daughter Linda Moore and husband Butch of Kansas, and sister, Leone Downer of California, seven grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her, husband Donald, youngest son, Shaugn Gillespie of Merrimack, NH, and her six siblings.
