Louise A Rutherford

Louise Rutherford (née Rousseau), of Merrimack, NH, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the age of 78.
Louise was born to parents Hyacinthe and Louise Rousseau (Vachon) on December 9, 1938 in South Berwick, ME. She was the youngest of 16 children. After her parents' death, she went to live with her sister Rita and Rita's husband Adalard Renaud.
Louise was a giving person who helped others in her career as a registered nurse. She worked in a variety of locations and settings including being the nurse at Loon Mountain Ski Area and working at Hillsborough County Nursing Home.
Louise had a great sense of humor and loved joking around with her family and friends. Her laugh will be missed. She loved many different types of music. She listened to music as loud as possible as often as possible!! She was also an avid reader, especially historic fiction. But her favorite thing was spending time with her grandchildren, she loved them all dearly.
Louise is survived by her daughters, Kim Maheu and Tracey Rutherford; her sons, Christopher Rutherford and Matthew Rutherford; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her five brothers and ten sisters.
A Celebration of Life will be held in March 2018 (date to follow).
