Lucien Matthias
Breault Sr.
March 1, 1930 – April 16, 2026
Mt Calvary Cemetery
Starts at 10:00 am (Eastern time)
Lucien passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Granite VNA, at the age of 96. He was pre-deceased by his beloved wife of nearly 70 years, Raymonde Breault (Lamy), Sons Jean Breault and Richard Breault. Lucien is survived by his three children, Michel Breault (wife Linda), Francine Breault and Lucien Breault, Jr (wife Kehaulani). Lucien was the grandfather to 8, Jason Breault, Brandy Cusson (husband Brian), Joshua Breault (pre-deceased)(wife Hilary), Matthew Breault (wife Melissa), Michelle Seamars (husband Patrick), Makana Breault (wife Skylar), Hunter Breault (wife Avery) and Auil’i Breault. His legacy will live on through his 14 (and still counting) great grandchildren.
Lucien and Raymonde immigrated to the Unites States from Canada in July of 1952. They left farm living for a brighter future, on their own in the US. Lucien started working for the Carpenter’s Union, soon after their arrival; he was a member until his passing. He worked diligently as a master carpenter and superintendent for almost 40 years.
Lucien was a master craftsman. He built and/or renovated every home he lived in. He was very intelligent about building and seeing things from a different angle. He was able to see a picture of something and recreate it for all to enjoy in person. He built countless items, tables, dressers, grandfather clocks, hope chests, gun cabinets; the list goes on and on.
Lucien loved to spend time in the woods, riding the four wheelers and hunting. He loved his game room. As an avid outdoors man, he took great pride in displaying his trophies from the bear rug on the floor all the way up to the moose on the wall. Everything came with a tale and he loved sharing those stories.
Lucien had another great love, flying. In his lifetime, he owned three planes. He turned his home in Hooksett, NH into a float plane air strip, Breault Riverside. He loved to take the family up, up and away for flights to Canada and other great places.
Lucien M. Breault, Sr was the patriarch to the Breault family and was very loved and will be missed by all. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 10am at Mt Calvary Cemetery, 747 Goffstown Rd, Manchester, NH. A celebration of his life and mercy meal will be held, at noon, at the home of Brian and Brandy Cusson.
