Lucille Martel

Lucille Elodie (Vincent) Martel, age 88, died Monday, August 3, 2009 at the New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton, NH. She was born July 11, 1921 in Chester, NH to parents Albert Vincent and Eva Gamache. Lucille worked as a hairdresser for many years in Goffstown, NH. She also worked at NH State Hospital facilities with developmentally disabled individuals to help them reintegrate into the local community. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah, and husband Paul Messineo and step-sons Thomas and Joseph; her daughter Gina, and husband Rudy Vener and their son Ari; her sister Eva Mahoney of Exeter, NH; her sister Ruth Gervais of Deland, FL; and many nieces and nephews. A service will be held at a later date at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Activities Fund c/o New Hampshire Veterans Home, 139 Winter Street, Tilton, NH 03276.
