Lucille Florence Pinet

Lucille Florence Pinet, age 96, passed away on May 27, 2022 at her home in Merrimack, NH.

Lucille was born on March 29, 1926 in Hollis, NH to Leo T. and Andrea R. Pinet and was the oldest of three children. 

In 1952, Lucille enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves and was the First Sargeant of her Company.  Lucille received an Honorable Discharge from the Women’s Army Corps in 1954.

She owned and operated Lucille’s Variety on Canal Street in Nashua for 27 years.  Upon her retirement, Lucille moved to Hyannis, MA on Cape Cod. She later moved to Merrimack, NH to be closer to family.

Lucille was predeceased by both of her parents in 1990; her nephew, Guy Pinet in 2016; her brother, Conrad H. Pinet in December of 2019; and brother-in-law, Dick Bishop in 2021.  Lucille is survived by her sister Gloria J. Bishop; her nieces, Barbara Pinet and husband Les Thigpen, and Andrea Marker and husband Tom; her grand-niece Meghan Marker and her husband Mustufa;  grand-nephews Ryan Marker, Joshua and Jeffrey Perrault.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the NH Veterans Cemetery.  Please share a hug with your friends and loved ones and remember the good times you had with Lucille.

There will be no viewing.  She will be laid to rest on June 6, 2022 at 12:30PM at the New Hampshire State Veteran’s Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
