Lucinda Miclette
Lucinda "Cindy" V. Miclette (Trudeau), 73, passed away on April 7, 2014, after a lengthy illness, at Pine Rock Manor in Warner, NH surrounded by her loving family.
Born in East Chicago, Indiana on August 12, 1940, she was the daughter of the late John Bednar and Evelyn (Sawyer) Trudeau. She was raised by Evelyn and Fermin Trudeau and was educated in Greenbelt, MD. She graduated from High Point High School in Beltsville, MD. After marrying in 1958, she became an Air Force wife, raising her two sons with her husband and moving frequently around the world in service to their country, until settling in Nashua, NH in 1977.
Lucinda was an active member of St Casimir Parish of Nashua. She was a giving and caring person who volunteered most of her adult life. She was active in the Vietnam POW/MIA support groups and worked tirelessly in the Vietnam Refugee Camps at Eglin AFB. Cindy was very prayerful and helped further devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and His Blessed Mother and active in Right to Life and Rosary for America. She loved to travel and being deeply spiritual visited Lourdes, Fatima, and Rome. Cindy was also a part time Clown and spent her free time "clowning" for adults and children who were ill or discouraged.
Cindy was a devoted mother to her sons Raymond and Marc and gave them many gifts which shaped their lives, most importantly their faith. She gave them a love of music and the Arts, traveling and appreciation of other cultures. She taught them compassion and charity, to speak up and defend those who cannot do for themselves, to do the right thing regardless of whether it is popular or how hard it is. Cindy showed her sons what it means to give of oneself and that to make a positive difference in just one person's life is the essence of God. Cindy will be eternally loved and missed.
Lucinda is survived by her sons, Raymond & wife Michelle Miclette of Hooksett, NH and Marc & wife Holly Miclette of Key West, FL; and their father Armand Miclette of Auburn, NH; her grandchildren Cameron, Sean and Matthew Miclette all of Hooksett, NH; Richard Miclette of Winchester, MA; Chanel Miclette of Athens, GA; Meagan, Danielle, and Samuel Miclette all of Key West, FL; brother, Thomas Trudeau and sister Barbara & husband Robert Langley all of Lakeland, FL.; sister Bonnie Trudeau of Arlington, VA. She is also survived by and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Lucinda was predeceased by her brothers Jack Trudeau and Michael Trudeau.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Alzheimer's Association at ALZ.ORG or any local charity caring for the poor or indigent in honor of Lucinda's giving spirit and loving memory.
Services: A gathering will be held Thursday April 10th 6-8pm at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire at 243 Hanover St Manchester, NH. A funeral mass will be on Friday April 11t at 10am at St. Pius X 575 Candia Rd Manchester, NH with an internment immediately following at Mount Calvary Cemetery 247 Goffstown Rd Manchester, NH.
