Luene (Baston) Schopen, 76, of Bridge Street, Milford, NH passed away on April 4, 2007 at home in Milford. She was the daughter of Charles and Myrtle (Hartley) Baston of Bridgewater, Maine. She was a graduate of Bridgewater Classical Academy, 1948. She was the widow of the late William C. Schopen of Hollis, NH and the late John D. Honey, CPO-USN. Mrs. Schopen worked for many years for Raytheon Company in Waltham and Wayland, Mass. She also worked for Jenney Oil Co. of Waltham as a bookkeeper. After moving to NH in 1977, she was a bookkeeper at the town of Hudson, NH. Before her retirement in 1990, she was a part time bookkeeper for Souhegan Valley Assoc. for the Handicapped in Amherst, NH. Mrs. Schopen was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Harley-Sanford Post #4368 and the American Legion Auxiliary Riccardi-Hartshorn Post #23 both of Milford, NH. She was predeceased by a brother C. Edwin Baston. Survivors include her two sisters, Barbara Scozzella of Boston, and Marlene Keegan of Ft. Myers, Fla; brother, David Baston and his wife Judy of Conn; special nephews, David and Dana York of NH and Albert Skip Keegan of Houlton, ME; special nieces, Donna Scozzella of Boston and Luene Turpin of Ft. Myers, Fla; five step-children, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren and many other dear relatives and friends.
